Monday Oct 6th in Kuta Bali
Back in Kuta I got caught up with my articles and had a browse through the local newspaper, the Bali Advertiser.
This paper is aimed at expats and has features by a whole range of interesting people. One of those folks is Gerry Williams owner of Bali Eats.com a site geared to helping you save time when searching out good places to eat.
A few weeks ago I e-mailed him and told him about Warung Gossip in Kerobokan. His write up is in this weeks issue at the top of the list. Gerry said the food is ’sensational’ and went back 2 days in a row. That’s the experts opinion!
This is a big week at the Kuta Karnival with plenty of surf related stuff going on.
In this morning’s Jakarta Post is an article about an accomplice to the Bali Bombers. He’s been dealt with in an appropriate manner.
Also is the newspaper is another piece about Megawati’s absence at the upcoming annversary of the Bali Bombing.

Hi Nick, have been reading the updates and this site is brilliant.I was in Bali in july and met Barrie but lost his email if possible could you pass it on please.Also i am due to start my dissertation at uni in England and was wondering when the time comes i would be able to ask for your advice and help, seeing as though you know alot more about Bali than i do.If you could email me back that would be great.
