Meeting Sima and Steve in Bali 3 years ago today

Three years ago today I was in Kuta and enjoying the company of Sima and Steve from England. They both went to Cambridge university together and Sima was a long time member of BootsnAll. Its funny looking back, not only at the people, but remembering the places I used to go.

In February 2003, Internet Outpost was home base and I could be found there at midnight on many occasions. Another place that Sima, Steve & I went was Captain Haddocks, on Jl. Benesari across from The Balcony restaurant. They had an interesting menu which revolved around a French selection. I met another fringed who worked there, Komang Armadi.

Looking back Steve and Sima were among the first travelers I got to hang out with and they were great value, sharing views on everything. Hope I see them in Bali again.
