I am sitting here at Global Xtreme here in Kerobokan and in an hour will have lunch with Priska, the wife of my friend Mike Hillis and the pretty face that adorns our header.
Priska is from Bali and Mike is from Grass Valley California. They have 2 lovely daughters and run a business called BaliSierra. Priska is over visiting relatives while Mike is at home taking care of things. I’ve known him since 1988 and look foward to him visiting.
My lunch meeting with Priska will follow.

hey nick, how’s your eye coming along? at least you look recovered from the pictures.
also never wrote about this before, and now you’re way to busy with other things, but i used to love your thorn tree highlights (just thought i’d tell you, after all this time!, that i was a very satisfied customer.)

I appreciate your comments. My eye is so much better that for most of the day I don’t even think about it. I tried in the first few days to be extra careful about passing it on to others.
The Thorn Tree highlights are on hold for now. Would be cool if someone else wanted to put together thier favourite 10 links every month. The Thorn Tree does have a lot of traffic and some some questions.
