A former supervisor of mine once said that a boring job enables one to let the imagination roam. There’s something to say for that.
Nick. I’m loving the photos. Thank you for taking the time to do this extra feature to your site.
EXCELLENT!!!
I too can see him concentrating even though it is the same old same old!!!
G’Day Folks,
Here’s the latest tourist arrival stats from the Bali Discovery site. Seems like a general improvement.
But this new re issue of the DFAT warning ahs sent the travel sites into a tiz!!!
Looks like numbers will drop again, only good thing will be even cheaper flights & paradise to ourselves!!!
Heard alot of people are planning on postponing if not cancelling & giving up their monies!!!!
Hi Tracey,
I reckon the Oz Govt is just covering their arses after what happened last time.
Cancellations will occur, but in the main, I think common sense will prevail and people visiting Bali will be cautious. Having said that, you can never predict if something will happen.
It’s only us die-hards who return irregardless of the DFAT warnings.
I watched the interview with Amrozzi and Mukhlas on Ch 9 Sunday programme. It was certainly grim in what they said, and to top it all off, the Govt puts out this warning that night!.
It will NEVER [or nobody] stop me from returning home to Indo. If the general tourist uses common sense in their activities, then they should be okay. Having said that, when your number’s up then there really ain’t nothing you can do about it eh!.
But yeah Tracey, cheaper flights are a comin’!.
I just feel a sadness for the Balinese people if the situation does intensify and the tourists start dropping off again.
Barrie, I saw the scum on tv too, why oh why do they televise that crap? They think they are celebrities, it makes my blood boil!!
Hi Angie,
Gave me the shits too watching it. I could think of better adjectives to call them instead of ’scum’, but I am an angelic and polite lad!.
Didn’t know you were married. Oh well, I’ll just have to take your foto of the wall! (He, he….!).
ha ha, maybe you can recycle the glad wrap!! Whoops, I havent even had a drink!! Saya nakal sekali!!
I too feel sadness for the Balinese whom are desperate for tourists to return. Also those that have different busainess (from the world over) in Bali thast are now also struggling due to the Tourist numbers not really recovering!
I did not watch the programme, I agree it makes him feel like he has power!
Something we don’t want other sicko’s to think they have!!!
Barrie i am lost in what has been said and is going to cause tourists not to return….can you explain whats been stated and what was on telly that scared the shit out ou petential tourists…
TThanks
Confused and bewildared Mark
G’Day Mark,
Wondered where ya got too!. Basically mate, the Oz Govt puts out Travel Warnings to its citizens about what they consider to be unsafe places to travel to. It’s just a way of covering their arses mate!.
What gets me is they come on the idiot box saying they have had credible info about this ‘n that, but never actually tell you the info they have received from the various authorities.
Personally, I would rather know the ‘credible info’ that just get bombarded with travel warnings.
G’Day nick,
Keep ‘em comin’ mate. The fotos just keep on getting better and better.
I like the way you have captured the concentration on the lad’s face. Hey, it looks a tad repetitive as you look at all the drum base’s behind him. Still, a job is a job and especially during the bad economic times of Indonesia at the moment.
