Another new airline route has been added to the growing number of service from Denpasar to other places on the planet. This one is a direct flight to Singapore vice versa which would make it ideal for all expats doing a visa-run. The new service is also ideal for those travellers coming through Singapore that want to fly direct to Bali instead of going through Jakarta. Lion Air will commence this new route on Friday (6th June) and for starter price is it quite reasonable at $117. What is even better still is for those tourists in Bali who want to do a bit of duty-free shopping in Singapore then they can hop on a flight one day and be back the next with arms full of goodies. About time there is some more competition on that route. 3 Cheers to Lion Air!
Over the last couple of months and with Adam Air out of the way, prices went more in the USD 400 direction for a return flight booked from Bali. SIA, Garuda and ValueAir, all the same.
Funnily, Singaporeans got already better deals when booking in SGD and from Singapore.
But hey, even paradise isn’t perfect…
