Let's read your Bali articles

Baliblog is fortunate to have an audience with a wide array of experience in Bali and it would be great to hear people's stories.

If you have something to say about a particular place, thing, event etc. in Bali or just want to tell one of your stories please forward it to me.

A 300-500 word piece would be a good length and we could start swapping some of those juicy personal stories and tips for the rest of us. We've all got a story, now is the time to tell yours.

Nick please tell exactly how to send you a story. I am not quite computer illterate but nearly so. Maybe there are others who have a story to share. I am enjoying Barrie’s stories. Heh Joanne, here is what you do, you don’t need reservations, when you get to the airport right before you go out you will see some kiosks, stop there, they have books of places for you to chose from. They will pull out the expensive places book first, look at the prices, then ask for cheaper, then cheaper until you find what you are looking for, then they will set you up with a taxi too, they will ask for some money to “hold the reservation”, but not too much, stay a few days till you find another place or figure out what you really want to do. You can do the same thing at the airport in Yogakarta. Have fun.

Indonesia has plenty of guest houses (losmans) that are cheap and easy to deal with, no reservation.

Barrie is the Yogya expert. Be sure to check out Mt Bromo in East Java.

Tracey, send me a photo of Indah

Cathleen you can write your story in a Word doc, then attach it to an email to me.
