barrie,ive been trying to get a cheap flight to the lovely island, sometimes they drop the price just before christmas, but not this year! the prices drop big-time on the 1st of february after school holidays, but i dont really want to go then, although the 7,000 rupes to the dollar is pretty tempting. i probably wont get up there till august, i thought that was a good idea of yours last year when you suggested all the bali-bloggers get together on the beautiful isle for a get-together party. margaret`s is jam packed with tourists at the moment, but its still a great little town to live in. i enjoy your write-up`s, keep them coming.

Yeah, these airlines can be aresholes eh. You’d think they’d wanna put bums on seats. I really can’t see full flights to the island at the moment even though it is Xmas.

I reckon the exchange rate should hang quite well for a while. Maybe hover around the 6.5 which is still brilliant. I can remember a time when the exchange rate was only AUD$1 = Rp2.500!.

Hey, why don’t ya try and get over for March.It’d be great to meet ya and discuss Margaret. Used to be my ole stomping ground at one time in my younger years when the town WAS just a two-bit horse town. Like you say, now it’s a tourist mecca. Too many piss-heads heading out to the wineries!.
