I don’t know how good Jasmine’s oxtail soup tastes, but yours is pretty damn tasty. Thanks! I’m going to have to get the recipe from you. Tried figuring it out while eating and it seems fairly simple, but appropriate quantities cook time and cooking order is always good to know.
Obviously it had tomatoes, oxtail, potatoes, carrots and onions in it but what else did it have? Were the tomatoes fresh or were they canned peeled tomatoes they seemed to be canned due to the lack of skin but you never know and I tasted a bit of salt…I thought there might be a bit of celery in it but I didn’t see any but did taste a hint of celery. Did you use any starch or flour with the water and does everything go in at once or do you make the base with the oxtail first and cook it half the day and then throw the veggies in after the ox has cooked a while?
So if you don’t mind handing out the recipe I’d love to have it.
