Interviews in Seminyak Bali

Wednesday afternoon I grabbed my new umbrella, iRiver and camera and headed out into the rain to do some interviews. My iRiver can play mp3’s and record from a built in mic. Its a handy little gadget and I am impressed by the sound quality, particularly compared to my old hand held tape player. After visiting several businesses on Jl. Dhyana Pura and Jl. Seminyak and talking with the staff and owners, I headed up to Eat Street (Jl. Oberoi). My interviews will be online as soon as I have a way to upload them and I found it quite easy to get people to talk.

The electric chewing gum was a good conversation starter and I zapped half the staff at Rumours. Close by is a bar called Street Life Bali, owned by Luca from Belgium. He poured me a Belgian beer and we chatted about Seminyak,
the bombings and the world in general. You’ll hear some of that soon.

Hi nick,

i hope you enjoyed your Leffe Radieuse?
For myself, i like the blonde Leffe better.
As being a Belgian myself i wonder how he got the beer in Bali. When i was there, i have visited many bars looking for belgian beer, but the only thing i could find was stella pils.
So does Luca’s bar also has other Belgian dugustation-beers? Being there I only heared people complain about import-hassles and high prices…

cheers
Andreas

I really start finding your agressive, misplaced posts annoying. I know for the best atmosphere you best drink Belgian beer in Belgium. But I like Bali more, and many people do so too, but eventhough some of us like to take a few pleasures along with us, as they form a part of our undenialble identity.
And i wont discuss this here, as many people already told you before, keep it easy here and discuss trough privat messages.

You know the capital of Belgium, impressive!
And again you speak beside question. And again you don’t listen to good advice and again you feel burdened to share your useless posts.

Andreas,

Who were you arguing with? I don’t see anyone else’s comments here but yours. May be they all got deleted, ha!? I bet you there were all Tony’s.

Yes,

you are right, they were all Tony’s. How funny you can immediately tell. :-)
