Indonesian Playboy launches today
Playboy, the world famous men’s magazine, known as much for its interviews as its photos, went on sale in Indonesia today. Playboy Indonesia did not contain photos of nude models like its foreign version, but models in lingerie.
Still the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) loonies, threatened to forcefully remove the magazines from legitimate businesses selling them. According to a FPI spokesman, Playboy is a ‘icon of pornography’ even if the local version did not contain pornography. So I guess pornography extends to your own mind imagining pornographic content in something. The spokesman went on to say that if legal means to stop Playboy didn’t work, people would take matters into their own hands.
The laughable thing about this is other magazines and promotional material in Indonesia is way more provocative than Playboy.

I could bash Islamic freaks for these stupid things they do but then again nothing beats the right winger bible beaters of America. I’m refering to the rejects that called for the death of a town becasue they voted the board out of office for allowing the teachings of evolution in a HS science program. These are the same ones that insisted that God made the tsunami happen as punsihment for the Indonesia and Thailand not converting to Christianity.
We have the same kind of idiots in Australia too. About 30 years ago the Australian city of Darwin was almost totally destroyed by a tropical cyclone, with considerable loss of life. Some of the Christian extremists said that the city had been punished by God because it was named after Charles Darwin, the evolutionist. Funny kind of God some of these dickheads believe in.
I couldn’t agree more with you. These are so narrow minded people who always choose violence when they don’t get their way. It’s so sickening ever wonder when they do behind close door?
