Hitting Gossip for makan in Kerobokan Bali
I was starving this lunchtime and took the opportunity to ride over to Warung Gossip on Jl. Pengubengen Kauh, across from Jl. Petitenget in Kerobokan.
Paul Callahan took me here last week and I was very impressed. This place is really a lunch joint with the pre cooked food presented under covers and served with warn rice, putih ( white ) or kuning ( yellow ).
Arriving at 11.50am the stuff was fresh and the place was not busy at all. I ordered nasi kuning, plus a chunk of beef in sauce, fish in yellow curry sauce and greens. The beef melted and the rest was delicious.
This little place is right next to the paddy fields which I much prefer to the hubbub of Jl. Legian.
Our friend Armadi sms’d me to say our new t-shirts will be ready tomorrow. Get ready Kuta!!!

That place does sound sweet Nick. How far from Kuta by bike is it?

Warung Gossip is a little tricky to find and is really an expat hangout. It is located about 2 minutes drive from the intersection of Jalan Raya Kerobokan and Jalan Petitenget in Kerobokan, which is 15-20 minutes from Kuta depending on traffic.
We’ll be hitting this place when you’re here in December.

Unrelated to the post, but an excellent one for Mick: I went food shopping this morning at the supermarket, and lo and behold, there was packaged Kangaroo Steaks AND the Hot & spicy Kangaroo snaggers.
