Happy Thanksgiving from snowy Washington USA

Its a special time of year if you are an American. Thanksgiving is here. Thanksgiving started when the pilgrims came over from Europe and gave thanks for there safe arrival. This national holiday is always on the last thursday in November and is a 4 day holiday including the weekend.

Having lived for many years in the US I have celebrated Thanksgiving along with my American friends and whether or not you are descended from England doesn’t matter. Thanksgiving is a great time to get together with family, eat, drink, take it easy and give a thought to how life is going. There is no gift giving at Thanksgiving which I like. Right now I am at the farm of Sean and Chris, my buddies at BootsnAll at Snowden Washington. Temperatures are around freezing and there was a bit of snow this morning. We are expecting maybe a dozen other people to come up and have hooked up a whooper of a sound system and movie viewer.

I’d like to wish every American traveler a happy Thanksgiving and to everyone else, don’t worry, you’ll be included too if you make it over to the US in future. (Barrie, we’d love to see you over here sometime!).

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Nick, and your buds.

Great vid. Funny seeing you in a sweater, no glasses, and a touque (knitted hat), no need for that #50 sunblock, huh? Just as well, probably jelled up solid.

Best wishes
Chris
(yeah it’s freezing and with a dusting of snow here too.)
