Sunday moring here in Bali and after hitting Cafe Moka for a Coffee Lover’s Breakfast (pot of coffee, bread basket with jam and butter and glass of water) I am sitting in Nusa Indah Net cafe on Jl. Dhyana Pura in Seminyak (250rp per minute).
Cafe Moka’s prices recently rose but are still good. My Coffee Lovers went from 12,500rp to 16,500rp…whoppie do.
My friend Palu has invited me to a bbq on Serangan this afternoon. Pastor Tom who came to my bbq a couple of weeks ago is leaving and its in his honor. Will be a nice change for me to attend a bbq and not spend all my time worrying that people get food and drinks.
Serangan is an island off the coast that lies between Kuta and Sanur. It is connected to the mainland by a 2 lane road. Probably take me 30 minutes from Seminyak.

Serangan also has great kareoke clubs if you ever tire of the Paddys and Seminyak routine. Hati hati, bring your kamus !
Nick try and get old Pastor Tom boddy popping down to liquids or Bountys till 3 or 4am mate. By the souns of it he wont need much arm twisting to be persuaded to hit the late spots mate eh?
P.s keep your eye on the BBQ and try and se if you can pick up any tips mate…you could also take along a few of those volcanic rocks mate….and no not to start hurling about the place when your slammed mate…but to test out again the different ways to get best cooking results.
