Its a lovely sunny day here in Bali.
Visitors if you want warm sunny weather, beaches and great surfing Bali is the place.
I am going to Stadium Cafe on Jl. Kartika Plaza shortly to watch the Aussie ‘State of Origin’ rugby football game between New South Wales and Queensland. Rob called me today and friend Nick will also be joining as the wives are out of here and back to Sydney today. Amazing isn’t it how these guys are hermits when their other halves are in town and as soon as the wheels are off the the tarmac its “LET’S PARTY!!!”.
Poppies Lane here in Kuta is dug up and I will get a photo of it as soon as I get some jiuce into my camera, it stopped working today while I was snapping.
I am hurrying to get a quick workout in and once again can’t say enough about the benefits of a little exercise. My workouts are very short…20 minutes average but I pack it in and notice the difference it makes to my scrawny frame.
A brainwave struck me the other day in regard to my bbq. What I need to do is head out to East Bali and fill my daypack with lava rocks. They will help decrease the space between the fire and the meat and also retain heat for longer. Why didm’t I think of that before? No more fanning Balinese style with a plastic lid for me!
Rob and Nick update coming soon.

Go the Blues!!.
Nick, the added benefit of all that rock lugging is you can give yourself a day off at the gym!!
No the extra lugging of rocks will give you the incentive to also do a work out, I reckon the more excercise you do the more you start to enjoy it & want more, you just keep pushing yourself!!!!
Hey bazza I have lost 2 kgs, maybe you found them??? Please do not return them, I got another 5 on their way…..!
Hi Tracey,
Correct me if I’m wrong, but when you say you have another 5 kilos on the way, am I to surmise that your procreatic activities were successful.
As for my 2 kilos, well, I always put weight on in winter. Wombats can’t stand the cold!.
If anyone in Oz finds a Wombat ‘patch’ for my backpack then please let me know. I’ve searched high and low here in ISOLATED Perth and all they got is bloody Kangas and koalas - don’t fancy putting a ‘roadkill’ on my backpack!
WHOOA!!!
Not yet bazza, still hard at it though!!!
Nah, I’d like to be what I was prior to having Maddy which is about 5kgs lighter! I meant 5kgs on their way to YOU!!!!
I will keep my eyes open for a WOMBAT patch…
I actually have used that as one of my work passwords, every morning I log in & it reminds me of you & the all the regs from the BLOG!!!!
Tracey,
Thanks for that. I can remember when I was a Boy Scout (before I was excommunicated!)as a kid and ahving heaps of patches on my backpack. Nowadays, they seem to be an oddity. Patches that is and not the scouts!.
Hey, what’s wrong with your weight. The fotos of you at the wedding showed you looking trim and terrific.
I am not obese, but would like to trim off some extra baggage!
If/when we get out to Healesville Sanctuary (one day) about a half hour or so drive I will have a look I reckon they’d have one!!!!
Thanks for the compliment!!!
