Its a 4 day holiday here in Bali and a friend called Miguel asked me if I wanted to check out a part of the coast called Klungkung.
Ika from Internet Outpost told me the was a national holiday followed by a muslim holiday followed by another national holiday so they just went ahead and declared a 4 day hoilday.
Am waiting to hear the logistics and hope to be back Sunday morning. Miguel has a friends with a fishing boat. Will be great to explore a new place and tell you all about it.
Weather is beautiful right now and I advice anyone who is considering it to come visit Bali. The vendors are all hurting for business and will give you deals. Not to mention Bali is a great palce to be at any time.

a warning to all readers of this blog. Nick is a dangerous individual, especially when you get him out on the road, partying big time. Tell him to “blog on” a little about his legendary “fear and loathing across America”. That boy is lucky to be a free man, and all who encountered him on that trip are lucky they ever came back down to sobriety. Dangerous animal, that Nick.
Takes one to know one, right Jay?
The great jay makes an appearance on the BaliBlog.com. Good stuff Jay…looking forward to seeing you again in the next year.

Nick & Everybody else,
If you are interested in seeing the programme for the upcoming Bali Arts Festival starting on June 24th, the URL is as follows:
http://www.baliartsfestival.com/#schedule
CORRECTION:
My log about the Bali Arts Festival starting on the 24th is wrong, wrong, wrong!. It starts on the 14th!. Sorry about that folks.
Interesting point somebody made about the opening of the Arts Festival and the Peace Music Awards being on the same night. Seems a stupid idea. Think I’ll opt for the Peace awards!.
Uh…cheers Jay. Hope my mum never logs into this blog. I think I’m a slow starter as far as being dangerous. I’m actually pretty boring until that certain pont where anything can happen.
Barrie. Indo Bike Adventures isn’t located nanywhere except in Mick’s head. You can contact him through the site although he lives in the Kerobokan area. Thanks for the Arts show info.
Nick, when you get to Klungkung, a visit to the Kertha Gosa is a must. I actually took a foto of each panel in the ceiling!.
The kaki lima out the front of the Mosque sell great food and very cheap.
