Bali has some amazing things going on and great places to explore. Probably 90% of tourists in Bali don't get more than 2 miles from the beach, and in most cases that means Kuta Beach. Recently I took off for a few days to Ubud and loved it, staying in Ubud gave me a whole new scope on the scene there as well as allowing me to report on the budget accommodation options. My plan is to repeat this in other places, gateways to other regions of Bali. These include Candi Dasa in East Bali, Lovina in North Bali, Amed in far East Bali, the mountain areas and West Bali. I have also never been to Nusa Lembongan so that is a trip that's waiting to happen.
Yesterday I invited Ika to join me on a trip but the bus ride doesn't suit her and Jevon right now so I will probably head out on Monday to Lovina.
