G’Day Mark,

After a night on the juice, this would be the voodoo blues!.

Actually mate it’s a very sacred site and extremely ancient. The inner tomb is an experience in itself.

Hey, when are ya going to Bali?. Sure would be good to be there when you are buddy.

I feel like you do Barrie…when you get pissed off with the rat race that i am in at the moment. I was only having a conversation with my dear old mah the other day about how life is short really and to many people dont make enough of it while they can. I was just saying to the old girl that nearing the grand old age of 40 i may have to start to settle down…..that means chill out to me with a nice Balinese Chick….No but seriousley i am currently on a diet to get in trim so when i do hit Bali i can indulge in the food and the jungle juice fully….you know the score Barrie as you start to get older(although the problem is i havent changed since my twenties…i still feel young… and age is nothing but a number mate….as they say Barrie like a fine wine is how we see ourselves as we age …..more mature and wise and full bodied and all the rest of the bunf. Bali is now on the top of my prios to visit….September could be when i think i would like to visit and will be ready to give those surfers and Ozz party animals a run for there money. Hopefully Nicks BBQ’S will be famous all over Bali by then with queues
streaming half a mile up the road from his house….perhaps even Nick doing the Serve and Turf (out the door i mean)
with his ever growing physique..he hee.
Yes but i will defo be hitting Bali Barrie mate….when do you see yourself hitting the island mate….it sounds like you would be a bloody good person to have around for information along with Nick with your wide knowledge of Bali and your ability to get on with everyone and appreciate whats around you….and also a wealth of knowledge i dare say …yes hopefully i will be able to buy you a few Bintangs and Arak
Ma Dus ( i cant even say it when i am bloody sober so what chance have i got when i have been on the sherbert eh? ah ha

G’Day Mark,

Yeah, know what you mean about getting fit and trim for travelling. At the moment it’s winter here in Perth (Oz) [and bloody cold] and so I have what I call my ‘Wombat Winter Warmer’ supporting my ribs!. So I have exactly 2 kilos to lose and then I’ll be back to normal.

Age?…what’s that?. At the tender and YOUNG age of 45, I’ve just started out in life and have soooo much to do and explore, nevermind experience. I mean, the latter could be interpreted as myself [as in me] still being a virgin. Did I tell you pigs could fly?.

Right on Mark, we will have a great time and you will like Nick. He is what you call ‘a likeable lad’ [London term I believe] and a real party animal!.

I’m still tossing dates even though my accommodation is organised in Bali (it’s a permanent booking!). I’ll email you direct and let you know nearer the time if that’s okay with you.

Meanwhile, do those pushups, situps and 20 klms per day and then you’ll be fit for Bali.

Hi Tracey,

Maaf ya mate, I was only havin’ a go at ya!. Hey it weould be great if you could be there around the end of September this year. We could finally meet!.
Yep that’s right. Spoke to Candika this morning and she reckons that time will be just right. I wanted to get over to Bali earlier, but we both have commitments. In other words, boring crap that HAS to be attended to!

Hi Tracey,

Now you are confusing me with Bahasa Bali!. I’ll buy it - what does ’seng ken ken’ mean?.
It’s a shit being fluent in Bahasa Indo and not realy knowing Bahasa Bali. You’d think by now after all the years that I would have at least learnt a fraction eh. Like Nick said, there are 3 levels of the language. Aduh, sedikit-tidaknya dengan Bahasa Indonesia, kami belajar satu ‘level’ aja!.

It would be fabulous to meet up with you and Gede and Maddison (and possibly another hidden) in Bali at the end of September. I know that Candika is looking forward to meeting youse!.

As far as the Baliblog party is concerned, that will be in 2005 some time. I’ll see waht Nick has to say when I get over there.
