Dealing with the after effects of a bad satay here in Seminyak Bali

Last night I went for some satay pork just around the corner from Internet Outpost in Kuta.

The food tasted good as usual but last night I woke around 3am for one of those ‘Original Joe’s moments’.

Original Joe’s is a place in San Francisco where Sean and I ate at in October and we both agreed it was the worst food we’d eaten in a year or 2.

Anyway my stomach growled with the alien intruder and I woke this morning feeling groggy with a pain in my gut and a headache.

Vincent called and asked if I wanted to join him for lunch. I won’t be eating much today and declined.

Now here at Global Xtreme and feel like a zombie. Anyway will type up my Jalan Legian hotel report and have it up soon.

G’Day Nick,

Rub some of that Chinese oil I gave you onto your stomach, abdomen, and the base of your spine. If you like, put two drops into a cup of hot black tea.

Did the Chinese oil help?

When I’ve drunk way too much or eaten bad food, I believe on some level I’ll never, ever drink or eat again. Not a good place to be and the shorter the better.

Nick,
Maybe it wasn’t PORK!!!??
Well I hope you are feeling better, it is no good feeling crook in Bali, as you really feel like your missing out on something as there is so much going on over there ALWAYS!
If you get a chance head over to Heart Beats Leather shop, if you are at Warung 96 head toward Brazil(restaurant) on Bensari on the left prior to Brazil you will see Heart Beats leather shop, Gede will be hanging out there no doubt, usually late in the afternoon. The boys there are funny & interesting…. It is opposite the Warung Depot Ika….. Check it out.

I’ve got a bit of the Bali Belly going on and stayed within easy reach of the bathroom today. I had this many times before in Asia and know the drill ( eat plain food, no oil, no spices, no green vegetables ).

I was looking at Barrie’s Hak Mau earlier today and will give it a try later.

Tracey I’ll try to get over and see Gede.

Ooh, sorry to hear about that…hope your feeling better.

I’m in Kathmandu now, and there is a 9pm curfew tonight, as their will be a strike in the city for the next 3 days.

I’ll send some good healing energy.

Hope your feeling better.

That wasn’t that Indonesian Warung that we were raving about is it!?
