Tuesday August 23rd has turned out to be the most overcast day in a long time, in South Bali that is. This morning Ika was looking after Jevon who is now a healthy 5.1kg at 7 weeks. Auntie Daisy was cooking up some of that Semarang food and Anna the pembantu baru, was doing her usual excellent job all over the house.
Ika pointed out that sky looked like it was smokey, by which she meant grey clouds were coming over. I rode downtown to visit my ISP Blueline at Kuta Galleria, before getting caught in quick shower on Poppies I. It feels like the rainy season again. Here in Internet Outpost the light level outside is low even though the time is still before 5pm, and we have a shower to go with it.
For people coming to Bali in the next 10 days, here is our weather forecast. Patchy weather but when the sun is shining it really cooks! The rain helps to cleanse the air so a little shower will actually make your trip more pleasant, that and a large Bintang.

Yeah, but it’s the humidity that kills you. I suppose you can’t get any worse than 100% relative humidity.
On my last visit to Bali, I could’ve sworn that if I stuck an ice cube between each of my fingers and I frantically waved my arms around, I could make a small thunderstorm about chest high. A few more Bintangs and I probably took it as fact.
