Cloudy day here in Seminyak Bali. Actually for me it makes a nice change as it gives some respite from the searing sunshine. Yesterday Ika and I stopped off at Warung Batavia on the way back from the Puri Bunda, for some Javanese food. I had fish soup with sour vegetables, a selection of fish and vegetable item and a mango juice. Ika had something similar. The bill was 52,000rp, which is not the cheapest Indonesian food around here for sure, but everything was good.
Speaking of weather I am about to jump on my bike and get out of the city for a few hours. I am hoping to capture some images of the storm clouds over the rice terraces of at least something a little Balinese. This time of year Bali usually does not get rain but we have had a couple of minor showers recently.
As you can see from our 10-day weather chart the sunny days will continue. If you are on holiday in Bali and want cooler weather need for Kintamini, Bedugal or anywhere at elevation. It’s a considerably different climate up there.

Nick I have been reading your hotel review and checking out the pics - it is raining and cold here (Perth - winter so we have to expect this weather) but the whole feel of Bali comes through when you see the hotels, can just imagine myself walking the streets, laying by the pool, shopping, talking, relaxing - s’pose I had better get back to work now but the site is a great lunch time holiday. 10 months since I was last up there, getting withdrawal symptoms.
Hospital looks great, Ika must be getting very excited.
