Cafe Moka, our daily bread in Seminyak Bali

Since Sean has been here in Bali we have been hitting the most obvious place for breakfast, Café Moka in Seminyak. I know I have mentioned this place a million times before and that is because I have been there a million times before.

We like it because it opens early, I notice staff setting things up at 7am. They do a range of breakfast cakes like choclatines, croissants, danish rolls etc, and a range of breakfast items. We get one of the set breakfasts, the Trekking which includes a fruit juice, coffee, breakfast cake and bowl of fruit, muesli and yoghurt. Today we ordered an extra pot of coffee and our bill was 85,000rp.

I pointed out one of the staff members to Sean and said This guy always gives me shit. For some reason one fellow always seems to do things differently than the other staff, including giving me stale break, a cup rather than a pot, asks me to pay extra for juice when I do not want ice etc. Anyway we got what we wanted and its just the right amount.

Moka is located on the kaja (mountainside) of Jl. Seminyak past Bintang supermarket. They do lunch and dinner also.

I am lucky that a Euro centric place is so close to my house, nasi campur is great, just not at 7am.
