Book Reviews
Shortly, I will start posting book reviews. Naturally, the books reviewed will be about Bali and of relevant interest to those travellers [and tourists alike] who wish to learn more about the island’s culture, arts, religion and all facets of Balinese life. Of course there will be reviews of books that are accounts of people who have travelled to Bali and their experiences.
For those travelling further afield, beyond Bali, I will also be reviewing books relating to the culture of the other islands in the Indonesian archipelago. Not only these, but also fiction books by Indonesian authors accounting tales of daily life.
As they come to hand (newly published), I will be reviewing guidebooks, phrasebooks and their usefulness as you travel through the archipelago and how advantageous they can be for your experiences.
Of course some people will disagree with some [or all] of what I write but they will be written in a non-bias and relaxed fashion. All comments and recommendations for further reviews will be appreciated.
