Mike Hillis is a native of California, now living in Sanur with his wife and 2 young daughters. Mike is partners in a diving and trekking company, Unexplored Adventures, in the Malukus, formerly the Spice Islands, in Eastern Indonesia. The diving operation is going from strength to strength with the addition of a new dive boat. I met up with Mike at Sin City, the restaurant / sports bar on Jl. Dhyana Pura and asked him how things are going.

The seasons in Eastern Indonesia are different from Bali. The season is from June-September, making the trekking rather unpleasant. Right now its sunny skies out in Ambon and I’d like to get out there sometime for a quick visit.
