Balinese locals used to slow times

Balinese locals here in Seminyak are somewhat used to slower times. These ladies seem resigned to waiting to see life will bring. Actually work for most Balinese people is a diversion from their religious and family life, not a career. Us westerners get all caught up in companies, careers and false values, but locals here never lose sights of what really matters.

While walking up from the beach on Jl. Dhyana Pura today I chatted with a guy who gives tennis lessons. He told me the court, rackets and his time would be 50,000rp an hour. I might do it sometime just to let off some steam.
