Everyone in Bali almost carries a cell phone. What they do with it is their business, but people on holiday want an easy way to contact taxis, hotels and each other. A new service will make receiving info that much easier.
As Bali Discovery reports, PT Telkomsel has launched an SMS (text messaging) service whereby a user can type ‘InfoBali event’ and send it to ’5777′. Updates on locals events. The service will be expanded to include, emergency services and consulates.
If bar owners were smart they would have this kind of thing for ‘free flow drinks’, drink specials and sexy dancers.
