Bali Tour picnic: What’s in the hamper?

The Bali 8-tour day tour, which will happen sometime in mid October, promises to be a great time. Its my first time organizing and running a tour so definitely a trial by fire for me.

One of the cool aspects of the tour is that is will incorporate 4 cool hikes in special parts of Bali. Some of the trekking companies in Bali provide a lunch, which usually consists of cold nasi goreng and a Coke. Not very special if you are paying a decent amount for the trip. I intend to make my hikes bloody bagus and we won't be eating cold greasy goreng. Our lunches will be a delightful picnic designed by us. Bali Deli and Dijon Deli stock everything a gringo could ask for, so I'm asking you. What would you include in your hamper for a perfect picnic?

For starters I plan to get good bread, cheese, salami, olives and some chilled white wine. Give me advice as to what a picture perfect picnic in paradise should include.

Nick,

A must for a great picnic is a nice nice garden salad already cut into bite sized pieces, and fresh fruit. I’m not sure if I can be there in October, but I’ll definitely say hello when I visit.

Aloha from Hawaii,

Mike

P.S. People in Hawaii practice their culture with and without tourists.

How about a couple of waitresses from Spy Bar to serve us cold drinks at the end of each hike.

Nick,

I agree with all of the suggestions. Bring as many hot waitresses as you can find and they can pour drinks and serve food. And after the meal, I’ll have the two Spy Bar girls give me a nice long massage.
