Bali Nine share digs with Corby in Kerobokan Bali

The group of accused Australian drug trafficker known as the Bali Nine will be moved from the various police stations where they are being held, to Kerobokan jail. Kerobokan is where convicted drug trafficker Schapelle Corby is being held so presumably she will at last get to meet some of them. Also being held at the jail are convicted Bali Bombers, Amrozi, Samudra and co. I'm thinking a game of pick rugby is in order. Samudra would be the coach, Amrozi the sneaky running-back, Renae the nose-tackle, Andrew Chan and Sukumaran the 'punishing' defense, the other guys would toss coins to decide where they went. Schappelle can be the mascot.

The trial of the Bali Nine will be spilt into 4 trials (Andrew Chan, Sukumaran, the 4 'airport mules' and the 3 'hotel mules'. One of the lawyers, Rifan Mohammad, said "We got confirmation from police investigators this morning that the suspects will be handed into the custody of prosecutors and moved on Thursday," "We expect the trials to begin around mid- to late-August, or the first week of September."

Maybe after they get settled in I will try to get an interview, Kerobokan seems fairly accessible.

I visited Kerobokan jail. It’s not that bad like you see in the movies such as BKK Hilton. Not at all I tell you. Bali 9; wrong bet you fools.

Hey Nick, It’s me DDlEGS,listen after I saw you I went back to Kuta and on a whim decided to go visit Corby in jail and she would not see me. I found out she will not see anyone but friends so it is going to be difficult to get an interview. Oh also even though she wouldn’t see me I was about 10 feet from her and she looked like she was falling apart. Who can blame her hough if I was in her place I would have gone insane by now. Anyway just wanted to give you the heads up.

DDLegs, Thanks so much for the update. I hope the best for Schapelle, whether or not she is actually guilty, she is still a young woman and it benefits no one to see her locked up forever. Hopefully she will be boosted by the arrival of the others.

As far as land on the Bukit, there is building going on all over. I’m not in the market for land so don’t know the score really.
