Bali Nine death sentences could be swift

It will be a few years (3+) before they exhaust all avenues for appeal. Maybe their deaths (if the authorites don’t mitigate it to life sentence) should be filmed, from the moment they are knocked up in their cells at dead of night til the body bags are rolled out. Then the authorities can play it on a big plasma screen in the arrival hall at Denpasar airport?
Whatever way you look at it the death sentence is an act of barbarity in an increasingly desensitised world.

Maybe they do need to film the execution so morons, like the Bali 9, can understand the consequences of trafficking narcotics in a third world country. The imposition of the death penalty in this case may seem barbaric to you, but that is probably because you live in the U.S. or another Westernized country like myself. You know what though, if you are from the States then you have no room to criticize the ruling in this case. Look at how we do things; We sentence drug traffickers, rapists, corrupt politicians and murderers to 10 or 15 years in prison and then upon their release they are hostile as ever, ready to commit more crimes. You seem to be ignoring the fact that the people involved are serious drug dealers, when in all reality they, and all people like them, are diseases to society. I would conclude w/ a joke referencing the idea of not dropping the soap, however I am not sure that soap is used in Indonesia and even if it is, those two dudes will be executed soon anyway so it is irrelevant.
