Paul - good decision. Don’t let fear blind you, but always be aware and alert in whatever surrounding you are in.
Yes Paul,
I will still be going to Bali arriving on the 1st of October unless my mother who is in Intensive Care at the moment gets worse.
I have been travelling to Bali since 1974 and this will be my 21st trip.
Ann
If I could go I would be there!
We just bought a house & move into it in 3 weeks, but I would go to Bali no problem…
Paul, enjoy your holiday!!!!
Comforting feedback Ladies, thankyou all.
Most people i have spoken to today have said just that. One mate even said ” well at least if you are departing the planet you will be leaving from the island of the gods..happy and content..” and without making light of the situation somehow i have to agree with him.
Pointless acts of cowardice dont fool me at all, and I am sure Australia will not be fooled and continue to love and support the Balinese people.
Hi Paul,
Don’t fool me either!. I’ll be there soon.
Nick, my husband Allen and I met you last year at TJ’s. We are unable to make our trek back to Kuta around this year’s anniversary, and were so saddened to hear about the car bomb in Jakarta. I agree that it shouldn’t deter you from wonderful travel to an incredible place; don’t fear, be safe!
Nice photo Nick, Its Sad we must again live through similar madness again today in Jakarta..deepest sympathies to the Indonesian people and all those injured.
I have decided to still come to Bali as planned. I`m sure I am making the right decision.
Your thoughts group?
Enjoy the Gili`s!
