Bali Bombing mastermind Abu Bakar Bashir has applied to the Indonesian justice minister to get out of jail early because of a bad back. He is 67 years old and its possible he does have a bad back but considering his crime, conspiracy to commit mass murder, I think he should stay inside.
Anything can happen in Indonesia, but President SBY does seem like a straight shooter and won’t buckle under pressure. I can understand he anger Australians feel that guys like this are allowed to make a mockery of the legal system and thus disrespecting the memory of there loved ones.
The Indonesian government has recently agreed to stop giving remission to convicted terrorists. What a great *(>$!!#$% idea!
