Bali Bombers on trial in Denpasar
Two accused terrorists responsible for the 2005 Bali Bomb II, started their trial on Monday at Denpasar. The first 2 to go on trial were Mohammad Cholily and Abdul Azis, each of whom had links with JI ( Jemaah Islamiyah) and were close to Noordin Top, SE Asia’s most wanted man.
Fox News carries the story and its good to see the way things are presented to people overseas. Fox tends to be very right wing, but this article seems fairly balanced. For people in places like England, USA, etc. it must seem like Indonesia is just one crazy place with acts of terror going on every day. There is crazy stuff for sure, but its done by a handful of people, who are off their rocker. Here in Bali, most everyone is cool and does not support extremism.
