Whirlwind trip to the mountains and Amed with Mick and friends over the last 2 days has meant radio silence from me.

I’m here at Global Xtreme in Kerobokan tying away like a crazy man. The ride home today was enjoyable but left me mentally drained after hours of concentration and fresh air.

I am almost through a giant post anout an area in Kuta and that will be up soon as will me post about our trip to Amed.

This evening we witnessed Mick firing one of his Indonesian employees for ‘borrowing’ one of his motorcycles. Have never seen Mick pissed before and he let the guy have it verbally. Good for him, too many people out here try to take you for a ride and a wake up call is good for everyone.

See you all bright an early tommorrow.

Nick & others,
Do you know of any Migration persons Agents/lawyers there that can help Balinese to get visa’s into Australia? Looking into it here as I am not fond of stress & waiting too long. So I am very seriously considering using a Migration Agent/lawyer to do the whole stressing & chasing up etc…
But just looking if it is any cheaper from there? Only I guess they would possibly also be using JAM KARET!!!!!!!

Tracey, I sympathise with you, truly I do. All the crap and bullshit, stress and regs doesn’t help the body system. There are a few Migration Consultants in the Melbourne area if you check ye ol’ yellow pages. My wife & I are at the mercy of the Oz Embassy in JKT and they remade the term ‘jam karet’ into ‘tak sekarang, tapi segera’ (not now but soon). I think you will find by using an agent in Bali, your bank account will drain ‘terlalu cepat’. At least with an agent in Oz, you are going to obtain info and progress quicker. How long have you been ‘in the process’?.

You need to ensure that agents working in Indonesia really know the (Australian) regulations. An Australian based agent will be expensive but are bound by professional rules of conduct.

Unfortunately Australians cannot advertise without being registered (its against Australian law).

But if you need information, call Greg Finlayson on 0812 365 1361.
