Australian Bali Bomb victim: An inspiration to us all
The effect of the latest Bali Bomb has been to cut the tourist industry down to size. Walkiing around in Kuta at night its deadville for sure. If the terrorists return at Christmas they’ll have to search for people to blow up. I know from looking at web traffic from other Bali sites, that bookings for the 1st quarter of 2006 are way down. Whether they’ll return by summer is anyone’s guess.
The latest news I heard from the Indonesian intelligence, is that JI (Jemaah Islamiyah) plans to kidnap western diplomats and Indonesian decision makers over the festive season. Let’s just hope they stay away from us.
