AJ Hackett’s 9th anniversary in Legian Bali
Today was AJ Hacketts 9th anniversary in Bali and I was in invited courtesy of sales rep Fanny Charles.
Located on the beach in Legian next to Double Six nightclub this bungy jumping center offers great views and good value.
I did my first (and only so far) bungy jump last August with the man himself AJ Hackett, the man who invented the sport.
The cocktail party today kicked off at 5.30pm. I showed up about 6.20pm as I had a date with a large Bintang and didn’t want to be rushed. Arriving I saw Pierre and Adam the 2 main men here. Pierre is returning to France in 2 days and Adam will be running the show from now on.
Fanny was on hand shaking hands and being the good sport she always is and a decent crowd had gathered to enjoy some vodka cocktails and free jumps.
I bumped into Johnny, the guy who does the photos for The Beat Mag after his first jump. He was pretty jazzed and got a good soaking to boot.
A good atmosphere was provided by the guys on drums and everyone here is excited about the summer being a great year for this outfit.
If I had to give my opinion on bungy jumping at AJ’s I’d say that its the most exciting few seconds in your life ( apart from death ).
Come on down if you are interested and have a drink at the bar to get your strength up.

Nick!!! Dude!!! continuity!! Where’s the continuity? What about the trip back from Lombok?? One minute you’re waving to locals and they are waving back, and the next you’re drinking Vodka cocktails with Fanny (can’t say I blame you though;-) and the bungee boyz. Que pasa?

It was nice of the staff at AJ’s to invite me. Pierre is heading back to France and I hope things work out for him.
Chris, sorry about the continuity thing, there was an error in the Matrix. I wanted to get this one out because of the timing ( their anniversary. Just pretend we’re all back in Lombok tomorrow.
Barrie and Mary life is goods and I hope to see you both out here soon.
The latest on the Bali Peace Park is Dallas attended a function on Jl. Legian which was part bombing part, bar promo a couple of weeks ago.
