Bali Bomber’s end coming soon…hopefully
Bali Bombers Samudra, Amrozi and Muklas are getting nearer to their end (as we all are). Holed up in Nusakambangan jail on the south coast on Cental Java, the 3 terrorists have pretty much given up any hope of getting off. Some reports suggest their execution could be in the near future.
Recently, lawyers for the 3 were lobbying for a painless execution (don’t you love these guys!). Apparently death by firing squad, involves some degree of discomfort and our 3 hero’s aren’t into pain. Lucky for them I’m not the judge, it would be death by mincing machine, feet first.
Get this, the leader of the group, Samudra, wants time off to write a book on terrorism! Life is stranger than fiction here in Indonesia.

I actually think there are quite a lot of people opposed to the death penalty. You make at least one of your regular readers disappointed and sad by hawkish articles like that…
