AirAsia, the Malaysian based budget airline will not being flying to Vietnam, Laos And Myanmar this year. According to managers, a the company is re-tooling in hopes of operating out of Penang or Kedah, in order to grab a share of the Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand market.
AirAsia is extremely popular and enables travelers to pick up cheap local area tickets. I met 2 people ffrom the US just 3 months ago who visited Vietnam, just because of a cheap ticket bought from AirAsia.
