oberoi baliSeminyak is located 2 km north of Kuta up Jl. Legian. The area really started coming to life in the last 10 years, with villas, hotels, bars, restaurants shops and delis. Seminyak is ‘expat central’, largely due to the location and access to everything. For someone on holiday, its not a bad place to start your trip. Getting to Seminyak from the airport by taxi will cost around 70,000rp depending on where you are going and will take 20-25 minutes.

The are plenty of accommodation options in Seminyak, ranging from the budget guest houses (Onada and Ned’s Hideaway) to the Oberoi Hotel, the best hotel in Seminyak.

Hard for me to think of a place with sexy dancers outside s accommodation Sorry I forgot.

Hotel Galaxy does offer rooms in the epicenter of the Seminyak party action, affordable and handy.

I’d recommend the Pelangi Bali, Jl. Dhyana Pura. Right on the beach, about US$50 (or less) for an a/c double room, 5 minutes from the restaurants/bars, but not right on the strip. Quiet, nice pool.

i would recommend to any one with a group of friends who like to party when they come to bali, stay at ‘the villas bali’ in jl. kunti. its the perfect place to chill after a big nite and close to all the action.

There are a bunch of good villas in that area, too. Skip the hotels, would be my call.
