Wednesday house hunting

This afternoon Sean and I visited a house off of Jalan Seminyak occupied by a French woman. It took us a while to get there after some missdirections, but when we finally arrived it turned out to be a nice place.

Claire from Paris has a clothing business in Bali and owns 2 shops. She showed Sean and I around. The place has a garden and 3 bedrooms. She has signed a 3 year lease she wants to get out of and it’s going for 90M rp for 3 years (about $285 per month)….that’s the starting price anyway.

We headed back downtown in a taxi and are now busy updating the blog before heading out to Santa Fe for some drinks….it’s his birthday after all.

Happy 2nd Birthday Sean! Was just chatting with some ppl last night about how Bali was doing. One guy had visited in mid-December, so things were still shakier; I told him how you guys are doing and your observations - it’s great to hear that things are starting to pick back up.

Hope your Bali Bash is just as fun as the Eugene one. Take plenty of video for us back here in the damp Pac Northwest.

Happy Birthday, mate.

Happy Birthday, son. It’s beautiful here in Portland - sunny, no wind. We walked Marquam Hill for you.

One of Rick Steeves’ “interesting” questions. Is the Sante Fe mentioned above in New Mexico!!
