Visiting Global net
We are thinking about getting satellite internet access in the house we rent and the taxi took us to Global net up on Jalan Kerobokan. Here's Sean outside keeping cool.
The place was quite fancy with good, cheap daily access at their internet cafe. Home satellite is spendy though and we won’t be getting it straight away.
Not having a taxi back to Jalan Seminyak we walked for a while past some fields (a la Las Vegas, Chris) and then jumped into a cab. We were sweating like beasts and had to get a drink before our 4pm meeting with Claire from France. A couple of cold Bintangs did the trick. Sean and I studied a local rag called the Bali Advertiser for more useful contacts.
