Why did you come to Bali?: Wanted to explore the island.

Is this your first trip to Bali? How long will you be here?: Yes. I have 2 more days.

How would you classify your budget? ( eg budget traveler, a little spendy, 5-star or bust ): Budget traveler.

Are you on a short holiday ( say less than 1 month ), or travelling for an extended period of time?: I am travelling for 7 months and will be visiting Lombok, Flores, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Did the Bali bombing affect you in your plans to come? Did it affect your trip overall?: Not at all. The war in Aceh did more so. I’m a bit ashamed to say it but I thought Bali might be a bit cheaper because of the bombing.

What is your favorite part of Bali?: I drove from Kuta to Kintamani. I also liked the villages around Ubud which were great.

What is your least favorite part of Bali?: The McDonalds. It’s a shame that people can’t be encouraged to eat local food.

Would you come back to Bali? Why or why not?: Yes. Its cheap, there’s plenty to do, nightlife etc. I enjoyed Liquid bar and the restaurants in Seminyak.

What advice would you like to pass on to folks that are coming to Bali soon?: Shop around for accomodation.

What are your travel plans for the future?: I will be visiting Lombok, Flores, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Why do you like travel?: I’ve been working for 5 years in London and slowly realised I got tired of the place. I realised I could have a much better lifestyle and see the world.

Any other thoughts you’d care to share with the world?: Not right now.
