Name:Mr Mudari
Age:53
Place of work:Parkirman ( Parking attendant ) close to Mambo on Jalan Legian.
Where were you the evening the bombing happened? What were you doing?:
I was 50 meters from the Sari Club up Jalan Legian across the street. I though it was a gas explosion.
When the bomb went off what did you see?:
I saw plenty of people walking by injured but I was too scared to help. I knew the Sari Club security staff who died. I saw the police come and help injured people.
I ran in the dark and people trampelled me when I fell.
How has the bombing affected your life and the lives of those around you?:
I saw a ghost of a lady hanging from a tree crying the next night. I was in Kalimantan where there was a trajedy between the Dayaks and Madurese and many people died. I cam to Bali and this happens. I’m thinking maybe God doesn’t like me.
What would you like to say to the people who did this?:
I would say nothing. I’m just asking myself ‘why they do this.’
What would you say to tourists considering coming to Bali?:
Bali is safe, no more explosions or bombs. I hope Bali is back to normal.

I and 3 other friends were arrived in Bali the morning of the bomb. We discussed going to the Sari Club that night but deciede against it thinking it would be better to go the next night. I thank god that we didn’t go that night as I’m positive that I and maybe my friends would no longer be here today. Everyday I think about Bali and I will for the rest of my life. No matter how hard I try the pictures in my head of the wreckage won’t leave. Bali is a beautiful country and I will be back.
the night before the bomb went off me & my husband was in Padi until closing time..we had enjoyed our time there..the following morning we went to bedugul for business trip and I remember I drove pass Sari club and Padi approximately 45 minutes before explotion..my husband insisted to go back to padi that day…what I said was “maybe we should leave it today we both are tired….”he dicided to go his own, we back to our hotel, he got in the shower..and 5 minute later I HEARD masive explotions our hotel window felt off, some glass are smashed and every one was panicking…If we hadnt visited our friend Kethut for hours and back early from bedugul that day Im sure we both wouldnt be alive by now…we would be in Padi for sure Thank God for His Protection
