Name:Miss Katut

Age:20

Place of work:Taman Sari restaurant

Where were you the evening the bombing happened? What were you doing?:

I was at home on Jalan Legian 2 miles away eating dinner.

When the bomb went off what did you hear?:

Duaaaa!!! I heard a loud sound that night.

Taman Sari restaurant was closed for a month after the bombing. I didn’t know anyone who was killed in the bombing.

In the days after the bombing I cleaned the pool at Taman Sari and cleared away debris.

People said be careful of more bombings in the Poppies area.

Since the bombing my life has been affected by having a lower salary. There are not too many tourists now but maybe more in the future. My family lives in Lovina so there hasn’t been so much change for them.

I don’t think there will be more bombings.

What would you like to say to the people who did this?:

Kill them!

What would you say to tourists considering coming to Bali?:

We have many nice places, Ubud, traditional arts etc. Bali is safe, no terrorists.

what happened in Bali is unforgiveable, only madmen the brainwashed or those pretending to be criminally insane could do such a thing. Often the most sane hide behind the curtain of madness to perform abhorrent crimes of this type. it doesn matter what religion you are, all religions are basically the same, one of peace and understanding, acceptance of others. I do not follow any religion. religion aside we should all accept the differances in the various worldwide communities. I have travelled to Bali on 3 other occasion and have always found the Balinese to be a wonderful and friendly people, the downturn in tourism is hurting them so much, we (Australians) owe it to the Balinese to go back to Bali and support them and their families. Unfortunately for quite some time, the world news corporations never mentioned how many Balinese lost their lives in this tragedy, this is also unforgiveable.
LEST WE FORGET.
