This was a great day for justice as the first of th Bali bombers was convicted and sentenced to death by the Denpasar court.
Amrozi the smiling bomber kept on smiling and now the locals are the ones who are smiling.

I just came from Kuta at 9.30pm which was a zoo with the traffic. I guess its good because that means business, but man there are so many taxis and SUV’s trying to squeeze along Jl. Legian and those other narrow streets.

That’s a fucken great idea. I’d say throw in a couple copies of the video “Girls Gone Wild” in his grave as well.
There was a letter to the editor in the paper in Brisbane recently from a woman who lost one of her sons in the Sari Club who suggested instead of killing Amrozi, they should put him in front of a firing squad every day and fire blanks at him. He wants to die to become a martyr, so this would be a torture for him.
I don’t really have an opinion on that, but it shows the strong level of feeling in Australia towards these terrorists.
