The Indonesian Supreme Court has given 4 more members of the Bali Nine drug gang, the death penalty. The group were originally sentenced in late 2005, 2 of the gang, Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, getting death, the rest getting life sentences.

In April some of the sentences were reduced to 20 years, but today the pendulum swung the other way. Today Tan Duc Thanh Nguyen, Si Yi Chen and Matthew Norman, had their 20 year sentence upgraded to death. Scott Rush had his life term upgraded to death. That makes 6 of the group now on death sentences.

Here’s more from the BBC.
