Second Australian man feared drowned in Bali
By Nick | August 1st, 2006 |A second Australian man is feared dead in Bali, a day after a fellow Aussie surfer drowned at Seminyak beach. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, a 30 year old man from Victoria was missing after surfing at Uluwatu, Bali’s premier surf break.

Surfing: The peak season in Bali
By Nick | July 24th, 2006 |July is the peak season for surfing in Bali. The SW coast, all the way from Medewi to Uluwatu enjoys offshore winds and decent swell. Kuta beach will be busy too, with begining surfers and local Bali boys jostling for position on larger than normal waves.
Padang Padang Bali

The Bukit Peninsula is the ‘upside down mushroom’ shaped chunk of land at the southern end of the island. Its mostly reef breaks and this afternoon I went to have a look at Padang Padang.
