It seems Indonesia is quite a good consumer of technologies, but has not been a significant supplier of information technology. Basically, Indonesia is an agricultural archipelago but it has to move with the times, so to speak.


 

Palm Oil Conference Opens in Bali

Indonesia is the world's second largest crude palm oil producer after Malaysia. Palm oil is one of the main export commodities of Indonesia with output reaching 14.7 million tons last year. It was only fitting then that a conference on the subject be held in the country.




 

Quake Resistant Houses: Indonesia

It would be perfect to have quake resistant buildings and houses throughout the archipelago of Indonesia and in doing so it would dramatically lessen the damage costs and loss of life.
