Ika, Jevon and I went down to the British Consulate in Sanur today, to clarify the procedure for getting her a visa to visit the UK. Britain specializes in bureaucracy and the immigration is no different.

A team of cricketers made up of some of Australia’s greatest ever players, calling themselves ‘The Garuda Indonesia Aussie Legends’, will play a series of game against local opposition here in Bali. The Bali International Cricket Club is located in Sanur and there 5 other cricket teams in Bali, catering to teenagers.

Sanur is build a cyber village with broadband internet access. Sanur is a expat place and a resort area, so I’m sure people will appreciate it. I’ve always found Sanur’s internet access to be slow and expensive.

Bali has an abundance of unique marine life, as does the rest of Indonesia. A British company plans to build a giant aquarium in Sanur as a tourist attraction and also as a way to help preserve some of the unique marine life.
