This afternoon I rode down Jl. Drupadi in Semniyak, the location of my first house in Bali. Across from my old house at 16X, is the new office of Bali Land & Houses, the guys who rented me the house, what a small world it is.

Ika, Jevon and I have just returned from a hole in the wall Indonesian place in Seminyak serving ayam bakar (roast chicken). Its really amazing what little places are tucked away and how there is a parallel universe in Bali, one foreign and one local.

Thursday morning at 6.30 Ika, Jevon and I walked down to the beach at the end of Jl. Dhyana Pura to catch some fresh air and watch the waves. Jevon has put on a few pounds since I last saw him. He is into rice porridge and gets vegetables in the morning too.
