There are a variety of maps available for visitors to Bali, including paper map, plastic maps, guidebooks with maps of the island eyc. The most detailed map of Bali, that is widely available is the Periplus Bali Street Atlas.

Today Ika, Jevon and I rode around Tegallalang, Tampaksiring and Ubud, exploring (getting lost) and enjoying the path less traveled (dealing with meter wide potholes). There is some nice real estate in that area (I should be an agent) and my GPS recored it all for me.

Cell phones are one of the most handy inventions of the last 20 years. No more waiting for friends, missing dates or leaving people wondering where you are. I love the system in Bali where I can pre-paid phone cards and use them with my hand phone.
