Before you visit Bali be sure to check up with your local GP, on the vaccination requirements. Taking a look at the CDC website, you’d need multiple vaccinations for Bali, but in reality you don’t really need many.

This morning Ika, Jevon and I rode down to Simpang Siur, the roundabout in Kuta. A couple of minutes down the Bypass to Sanur we pulled into the SOS International clinic. Ika had fever and chills last night which were quite intense, so I wanted to get her checked out fast.

One of the many assorted questions I got this week, was from a gentleman who runs a site dedicated to bird flu. The avian flu H5N1, that is causing so much publicity, is of interest to many people around the world, including the CDC (Centers of Disease Control).

Just got an sms form a friend who says that Swiss national Jon P. Zurcher is in Denpasar’s Sanglah hospital with dengue fever. He needs blood type A rhesus negative.
